What Just Happened
Claude Code just got the feature developers have been waiting for. You can now schedule recurring cloud-based tasks that run without your computer on. Set a repo, set a schedule, set a prompt. Claude handles the rest while you sleep.

ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE
🌎 Claude Code Just Went Autonomous
Here's how it works. You go to claude.ai/code/scheduled or open the desktop app. You pick a repo or multiple repos. You set a schedule. You write a prompt. Claude runs it via cloud infrastructure on your schedule. No terminal open. No desktop running. No babysitting.
The use cases are already obvious. Sweeping through open PRs overnight. Building features from approved issues. Analyzing CI failures while you sleep. Syncing docs based on newly merged PRs. All of this happening automatically without you touching your keyboard.

Scheduling Tasks Via Claude Code
This is the piece that was missing. Claude Code was already the best coding agent. Dispatch let you text it tasks from your phone. Channels let external services push messages into a session. /loop let you set recurring tasks inside a session. But all of those needed your machine running.

Claude’s Scheduled Tasks Being Executed On Time
That limitation is gone. Cloud scheduled tasks mean Claude Code can operate completely independently. You define the work once. Claude executes it on a cadence. Results show up when you come back.
It has access to any MCPs you've connected via claude.ai. That means your GitHub repos, your databases, your Slack, your monitoring tools. All reachable on a schedule without you being present.
So, Why Is This Even Important?
Because AI just crossed the line from reactive tool to autonomous system.
Every AI tool until now worked the same way. You prompt, it responds. You close the tab, it stops. The entire interaction depends on you being there to initiate it.
Claude Code just broke that pattern for developers. Your codebase now has an always-on agent watching it, maintaining it, reviewing it, and improving it on a schedule you define. You don't prompt it. You don't monitor it. You come back to a cleaner repo.
Think about what this means at scale. A team of ten engineers all running scheduled tasks. PRs getting reviewed overnight. CI failures getting diagnosed before the morning standup. Docs staying in sync automatically. The codebase improving while the entire team is offline.

Your AI tools are only as good as your prompts.
Most people type short, lazy prompts because writing detailed ones takes forever. The result? Generic outputs.
Wispr Flow lets you speak your prompts instead of typing them. Talk through your thinking naturally - include context, constraints, examples - and Flow gives you clean text ready to paste. No filler words. No cleanup.
Works inside ChatGPT, Claude, Cursor, Windsurf, and every other AI tool you use. System-level integration means zero setup.
Millions of users worldwide. Teams at OpenAI, Vercel, and Clay use Flow daily. Now available on Mac, Windows, iPhone, and Android - free and unlimited on Android during launch.
Also Today
OpenAI is building a super app. Bloomberg reported today that OpenAI is developing a desktop application that combines ChatGPT, Codex, and their Atlas browser into one product. The reason? Anthropic. OpenAI is watching Claude chat, Claude Code, Cowork, and Chrome all work together as one ecosystem and they're scrambling to catch up. No launch date yet. Just the admission that Anthropic set the pace and OpenAI is following.

This Week In Claude
Monday: Dispatch. Text Claude from your phone, it works on your desktop while you're gone.
Wednesday: Channels. Telegram, Discord, Slack, iMessage push messages directly into Claude Code sessions.
Friday: Cloud scheduled tasks. No computer needed at all.

Truly, there is no better picture than this to describe the momentum Anthropic has been on.
Three days. Three features. Each one removed the biggest limitation of the one before it. Dispatch needed your desktop running. Channels needed a session open. Scheduled tasks need nothing. Just a repo, a prompt, and a schedule.
Anthropic shipped more this week than most AI companies ship in a quarter. And Katy Perry signed up for Claude Pro somewhere in between. That's the kind of week it's been.
What's The Recap
Claude Code now runs scheduled tasks in the cloud without your computer on. Set a repo, a schedule, and a prompt. Come back to finished work. OpenAI is building a super app to combine ChatGPT, Codex, and Atlas into one product because Anthropic won't stop shipping. One company is building the future. The other is reading about it in Bloomberg.
Stay building. 🤖
